Residential Programs

Purpose:

To be a leader in the provision of individualized services and supports. Based on each person's abilities we offer attractive, affordable housing and the necessary support for each person with a developmental disability the opportunity to live, learn, grow and be active in their community.

In order to achieve this goal, we offer:

  • Individualize planning, promoting personal choices, opportunities and responsibility.
  • Support and guidance based on each person’s individual strengths.
  • Skill development and support in all areas of living.
  • The opportunity to use natural and community supports to achieve full potential.

Independent Living

Our goal is to:

  • Provide support for each individual to reach their own dreams and goals.
  • Provide opportunities for personal development and enhanced quality of life.
  • Provide support as needed in areas such as budgeting, skill development, health care and emergency response.
  • Encourage community involvement by using natural and community supports for people to feel a strong sense of community.
  • Planning for each person with the focus being their individual rights, their choices and their happiness.

24 Hour Support

Our goal is to:

  • Provide support to adults over the age of 18 with a developmental disability.
  • To provide support based on the individual, some people living a retirement lifestyle while with others the focus is on skill development.
  • Provide support for each individual to reach their own dreams and goals.
  • Encourage residents to be active participating members of their own home and of their community.
  • Provide support in all areas when needed for things such as skill development, safety training, medical concerns and whatever is needed based on the individual.

Who is Eligible?

Individuals must...

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a developmental disability.
  • Have basic self-care skills compatible with the level of support.
  • Be eligible to receive funding from the Ontario Disability Support Program, Canada Pension Plan or have adequate income.
