I feel proud of the work that I do. It makes me feel good inside. I like to see my city clean not dirty.
About the Graffiti Removal Program
Mainstream’s Graffiti Removal program began in 2007 when Mainstream received an innovation grant from the United Way Niagara. The program was created to provide employment opportunities for people with a developmental difference while making a difference in their community.
The Graffiti Removal Team now provides employment for 11 individuals each year from April to November.
We have worked with Cogeco, the City of St. Catharines Parks and Recreation department and the Downtown Association, as well as the Niagara region as their preferred vendor to remove graffiti from their property and equipment.
We are also listed on the City of St. Catharines website as a city approved contractor for graffiti removal.
Throughout the past year Mainstream has purchased the equipment necessary to expand the program. We now offer a variety of specialized cleaning services as well as graffiti removal.
